Paying an invoice

Open the invoice and select Pay (the button shows the amount due). In the payment dialog, choose your wallet balance or a payment gateway, then select Pay followed by the amount.

Choose how to pay

  • Wallet balance: shown with your current balance. Paying this way settles instantly, with no redirect. It can be used only when your balance covers the whole amount. If the balance is short, the card is greyed out and shows what the wallet holds against what the invoice costs. If the wallet is empty, the card isn't shown at all. Top up your wallet to use it, or pay another way.
  • A payment gateway: the card and crypto options Dash currently offers, listed by the names Dash shows for them. Choosing a crypto gateway lets you pick the cryptocurrency on the next page. Selecting a gateway takes you to its payment page, and you're returned to Dash afterward.

After a gateway payment

You land on Payment received, which takes you back to the invoice after a few seconds. You can also select Go to invoice. The invoice shows its current status.

If you cancelled on the payment page, you land on Payment cancelled instead. Nothing was charged and the invoice stays as it was. Select Back to invoice and pay again whenever you're ready.

If the payment doesn't go through

The message tells you what to do next.

  • The payment did not go through.: nothing was charged. Pay again, or use another method.
  • This item is no longer in stock at the location you chose, so this order cannot be paid.: the invoice can't be paid as it stands. Place a new order, or open a ticket.
  • This order could not be completed, often because what you chose is no longer available.: open a ticket with the invoice number, or order a different product.
  • A payment for this order is already being processed. or A payment for this invoice is already being processed.: a payment on the same invoice is still running, often from a second tab or a second attempt. Wait a moment, then open the invoice again before trying once more.

If the invoice was cancelled before your payment arrived

The message reads This invoice was cancelled before your payment arrived, so the amount was added to your wallet balance. The payment did arrive, so it's refunded in full to your wallet balance and reads Refunded in Payment history. The invoice stays Cancelled. Place a new order if you still need the service, and pay it from the balance.

If the payment is taken but the service isn't created

The message reads Your payment was received, but we could not create your service. (or your domain, or your domain transfer). What happens next depends on how you paid.

  • Paid from your wallet balance: the amount is returned to your wallet and the invoice goes back to Unpaid. Pay it again, or open a ticket if it fails a second time.
  • Paid by card or crypto: the payment stands. Open a ticket with the invoice number and we'll finish the order for you. Don't pay again.

If a crypto payment settles short

The invoice status becomes Partially paid. Open it again and pay the remaining balance.

Partial payment does not activate the service

A partially paid invoice does not activate or renew the service it's for. The service stays in the state it was in until the full amount is paid.

If no payment method is shown

The dialog reads No payment method is available right now. This invoice stays unpaid and nothing has been charged. Try again shortly, or contact support.
