Updating profile details
Open Profile in Dash. Edit a card's fields and select Save. Your email address and password each have their own Change flow.
Update account information
The Account Information card holds Full Name, Email, Phone, Country, State, City, Organization, Postal, and Address. Edit any field except Email directly, then select Save.
Six fields are required: Full Name, Phone, Country, Address, City, and Postal. The profile can't be saved without them, and a missing field shows its own message under it. State and Organization are optional.
After you verify your email, Dash shows Complete your profile to continue until the required fields are filled. The dialog can't be closed. Fill in the fields and select Save and continue.
Change your email address
Email is read-only in the Account Information card.
- Select Change next to Email.
- Enter the new address and your current password.
- Select Send confirmation link.
The change takes effect when you open the link sent to the new address. If your account signs in with Google or GitHub, changing your address there won't change it in Dash. Contact support if it needs to change.
Update secondary WHOIS information
The Secondary WHOIS Information card holds a separate contact record (name, email, organization, country, state, city, address, postal, phone, fax) used as the registrant contact for domains. Edit the fields and select Save, or check Use primary profile information to fill them from your account profile. Name (first and last), Email, Country, Phone, Address, City, and Postal are required.
Turn on two-factor authentication
In the Security panel, select Enable email next to Two-factor authentication, then confirm. Dash emails a six-digit code every time you sign in, so you need access to that inbox to get into your account. To disable it, select Turn off, then confirm.
Change your password
Select Change next to Change password, enter your current password and a new one twice, then select Update password. You're signed out on every device once it's updated.
Deactivate your account
In the Danger zone, select Deactivate, then confirm. Your services stop and you're signed out immediately. Contact support if you want the account back.
