Dedicated Server overview
A Dedicated Server is a whole physical machine that no other customer shares. You choose a specific server by its hardware (processor, cores, memory, storage, and uplink) and location, and our team sets it up after payment.
Compared with other servers
- VPS: a virtual server; choose a Dedicated Server when you need a whole machine or more resources than a VPS plan offers. See VPS.

What you manage in Dash
Power controls, IPMI access (instead of the HTML console a VPS has), reinstall requests, and billing. Controls appear only when available for that server. The operating system and everything on it are yours to manage.
