Buying a VPS

Order a VPS from Quick Buy in Dash: choose a VPS type and plan, configure the location and operating system, review the order, and pay. The server then appears in Servers as Pending until our team has it ready.

Where to start​

  • In Dash: select VPS under Quick Buy at the top of Dash. On a smaller screen, open the Quick Buy button at the bottom of the page. You need to be signed in.
  • On perlod.com: start from a plan on one of the VPS pages at perlod.com/vps-hosting. You can configure the server before signing in. Dash asks you to sign in or sign up when you select Review and continue, and keeps your choices.

Choose a type and plan​

  1. Open VPS in Quick Buy and select the card for the VPS type you want.
  2. For Linux or Windows, choose the Basic or Premium tier tab.
  3. Use the Monthly / Annually switch to compare prices. Each plan card shows its CPU, RAM, storage, port speed, and bandwidth.
  4. Select Deploy VPS on the plan you want. GPU VPS is listed as server cards, each showing its GPU model and memory, with the same Deploy VPS button.

A plan that shows Sold Out or Not available to order can't be ordered right now.

Configure the server​

The configure page, headed Configure your followed by the VPS type, has these sections:

  1. Location: pick a region, then a location. Any location surcharge appears in the order summary. Not every VPS type is offered in every location. See perlod.com/locations.
  2. Operating system: available after you pick a location. The list shows the images offered for this plan.
  3. Network: choose a Traffic option, and an Additional public IP if the plan offers one.
  4. Managed support: one plan is always selected. A plan marked Contact sales can't be added here. Continue with a plan you can select and open a ticket about it.

The summary on the side, Your server, shows the price, the specs, your choices, any one-time setup fee, the total, and the Billing period. Select Review and continue when you're done. Dash tells you if a location or operating system is still missing.

Review and pay​

  1. On the review step, check the details. To change anything, use Back to configuration or your browser's Back button.
  2. Add a promo code if you have one, and confirm the billing period.
  3. Select Continue to payment, choose a payment method, and pay. Paying with a gateway works as described in Paying an invoice.

After payment​

You land on Payment received. Select Go to invoice to see the invoice, or Go to my servers to see the order.

The VPS appears in Servers as Pending. Our team sets it up, the status moves to In progress, and then to Active. Once it's Active, open it with View details to find its IP address and controls. See Managing VPS in Dash.

Partial payment does not activate the service

If a crypto payment settles for less than the full amount, the invoice becomes Partially paid and the server is not set up yet. Pay the remaining balance from the invoice to move it forward.
