Linux VPS
Linux VPS is PerLod's general-purpose VPS: a Linux server with root access. It's one of two VPS types with Basic and Premium tiers.
Typical use
Websites and APIs, development servers, containers, VPNs, and monitoring tools. For Windows software, a router, bulk storage, or a GPU, see the other VPS types.
Tiers
| Tier | What it offers |
|---|---|
| Basic | Everyday workloads on NVMe storage, with a 1 Gbps network, at a lower price |
| Premium | Higher-grade hardware and infrastructure, reserved CPU cores, and a 10 Gbps network |
Premium CPU cores are reserved, not dedicated physical CPUs: the plan's full core count is allocated to your VPS. Both tiers are ordered, managed, and billed the same way.
Ordering and management
In Quick Buy, open VPS, select Linux VPS, choose the Basic Linux or Premium Linux tab, and select Deploy VPS on a plan. Management is the same as any VPS.
